"We need a videographer" can mean a friend's product launch filmed on one camera, or a two day conference with four cameras, interviews and a highlights film due on Monday. Both are videography. They need very different people.
Video is now a normal part of how organizations communicate. In Wyzowl's 2026 video marketing survey, 91% of businesses said they use video as a marketing tool. The same survey found that 59% create their videos themselves, 10% use only external vendors and 32% use a mix of both, which means 42% rely on outside video makers in some way. If you are in that group and searching in Beirut, this guide is for you.
We are Fine Line Production, a production house in Hamra, Beirut. We are a team rather than a single freelancer, and we can send one videographer or a full crew, so we will be plain about which one your job needs.
When one videographer is enough
A single videographer is often the right choice when:
- The video is short and simple: a social clip, a quick product demonstration, a personal event.
- One camera can tell the story, and nobody on screen needs to be interviewed at length.
- You are happy to receive the footage with a light edit.
- The budget is small and the stakes are low.
A good freelancer will do this well. So will a single videographer from a production team, and the difference is what stands behind them if the job grows.
When the job needs a team
The picture changes as soon as one of these is true:
- More than one camera. A conference, a ceremony or a panel needs a wide shot, a close shot and someone watching the audience. One person cannot be in three places.
- Sound matters. Interviews and speeches live or die on audio. That is a microphone on every speaker and somebody listening while it records.
- Lighting matters. A corporate interview that looks professional was lit, usually by someone other than the camera operator.
- It has to go out live. Streaming is a broadcast job with its own crew. See how live streaming works for events.
- The edit is the real work. Scripted films, animation, subtitles in two languages and color grading are post-production, and they need people who were part of the plan from the start.
- It represents the organization. A launch film, an annual report video or a donor film is going to be judged. Our guide on how to choose a video production company in Lebanon covers that decision.

What videography with Fine Line looks like
- Event and conference videography. We film conferences, festivals and corporate events with multi-camera crews, and stream them when needed.
- Corporate video. Company films, product films, internal films for staff and event coverage. For the ROCK Mutual Insurance launch we handled all the video and photography.
- Documentary and field filming. For UN agencies, international NGOs, embassies and foundations, on location across Lebanon.
- Social video. Vertical video cut for Instagram Reels and TikTok, with the same crew and the same standards, framed for the platform.
- Photography alongside the filming. Corporate and product photography, and documentary stills in the field.
- Aerial videography. Available when a project calls for it, through the drone operators we work with rather than an in-house department.
- A studio in Hamra. For interviews, product shots and anything that needs controlled light and sound. See the studio.
A small job is welcome too. If all you need is one camera for a day, we can send one videographer from our team, and you still get the editing, sound and backup of a production house behind that person.

Seven questions to ask any videographer in Beirut
- Who edits, and is editing included? Filming and editing are often priced separately.
- How is the sound recorded? Ask what microphones are used, and whether someone monitors the audio.
- What happens if a camera or a card fails? A professional carries a backup and records to two cards.
- How many cameras, and who operates them?
- What do I receive, and when? The finished video, the formats, the vertical versions, and whether you get the raw footage.
- Who owns the footage and where can I use it?
- Can you subtitle in Arabic and English?
Clear answers to these tell you more than a showreel does.
What it costs
We do not publish a price list, and a number without a brief would be a guess. The same parts move every video budget: days of filming, crew size, equipment, and the amount of editing. Our corporate video cost guide explains each one.
